The Fender American Performer Stratocaster® HSS is a USA-made electric guitar designed to deliver authentic Fender tone with modern enhancements for today’s players. Built in Corona, California, this model combines traditional Stratocaster character with upgraded electronics and hardware that improve versatility, reliability, and playability across a wide range of musical styles.

Featuring an alder body and a comfortable Modern “C” maple neck, the American Performer Stratocaster HSS offers a familiar feel with smooth response across the fretboard. The HSS pickup configuration pairs two Yosemite® single-coil pickups with a Double Tap™ humbucking bridge pickup, providing everything from classic Strat chime to thicker, more powerful tones. A push-pull control enables coil-splitting for expanded tonal flexibility, making this guitar suitable for studio, rehearsal, and live performance applications.
